I used to work at Prudential Financial where I became a serial volunteer for women and children based non profits. I also led teams of corporate volunteers to uplift the underserved community by enhancing the living conditions of shelters and places where the youth can learn and grow while being a mentor for a girls group and heading restaurant participation for “A Taste of Newark” at NJPAC for Link Elementary School. I am currently an author. I also advocate for teen moms and young adult mothers mentoring them to become confident, self-reliant and determined to create a better life for their families so they are no longer part of the FosterCare System.
My passion comes from being part of the system to helping those rise above the system to create their own narrative and not the narrative society dictates for them. |
